INDIA: A large number of people came out to celebrate the night of 31st December in Mumbai Delhi Kolkata Chennai. With fireworks and music, cities across the world and India welcomed the year 2023 with much pomp and show. At present, the government has not imposed any kind of restriction in India, which benefited the event organizing companies, the enthusiasm of the people in Mumbai was at its peak. A huge crowd gathered at Marine Drive in Mumbai to celebrate New Year. Special parties were organized in pubs and clubs in different parts of the capital Delhi. DJ parties were organized in Goa Masti hotels and resorts along with illuminated beaches. Almost all major casinos, restaurants and bars hold special events to celebrate the New Year. This morning, morning puja was also performed at the prestigious Siddhivinayak temple in Mumbai. Devotees flocked to the Siddhivinayak temple to watch the morning aarti on Sunday, the first day of the new year.
AUSTRALIA: New Year was celebrated with great pomp in Australia also. Lakhs of people came here to celebrate in Sydney. The New Year was welcomed by burning about 7000 firecrackers.
UAE: There was no dearth of fireworks in Dubai of United Arab Emirates also. Here people celebrated the New Year with firecrackers on the world’s tallest building Burj Khalifa.
UK: People were seen setting off fireworks in Britain amidst heavy snowfall and stifling cold. After the pandemic, no one wants to miss the opportunity to celebrate without restrictions. It also rained in many areas here on Saturday.
