GERMANY: The attacker attacked people walking on the road in various places. A huge search operation has been launched to find the attacker. Police are also searching for him with the help of helicopters. The attack took place in the city center at 10 pm on Friday. The attacker is still absconding. The police have cordoned off the scene and have asked to evacuate the area of the Frohnhof market. According to media reports, emergency crews have reached the scene. Crew members were seen treating the injured.
The police have deployed 40 tactical vehicles in search of the suspected attacker. These vehicles are being directed by SEK (Special Task Force) officers. Roads have been closed and people have been asked to stay indoors as the search operation of police officers continues.

According to the Zollinger Tageblatt newspaper, Philip Muller, one of the festival’s organisers, said that several emergency crews were trying to save the lives of nine people.
Muller said, “People are in shock. But they have left the square peacefully.” Eyewitness Lars Britzak told the newspaper that when he saw a strange expression on the face of a singer on stage, he understood that something was wrong.
