DELHI : Vishwa Hindu Parishad spokesperson Shriraj Nair said, “As of now, VHP will not oppose the film Pathan. The changes made in the film are correct keeping in mind our earlier objections. If we find anything objectionable after watching the film, we will Will reconsider opposing the film.”
Earlier, activists of Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal had warned that if the film ‘Pathan’ is released despite their objection, then it will be opposed by Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal. Keeping this in mind, the police has issued a notice.
MAHARASHTRA: Thane Police has given notice to the workers of Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishad who opposed the film Pathan. Earlier, activists had protested by tearing posters of the film at many places in Maharashtra.
GUJRAT: In Gujarat, workers of Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishad had even threatened that they would not allow the film to be released. Now the police say that a right-wing organization threw ink on the posters of the film and tore them.
MADHY PRADESH: Even before the first show of the film Pathan in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, Bajrang Dal workers have protested here. In the entire Madhya Pradesh as well as in Gwalior, before the start of the first show of the film Pathan in DD Mall located at Phoolbagh intersection of the city, Bajrang Dal workers reached the theater and raised slogans like Jai Shri Ram. After receiving the information, a large number of police forces also reached the spot. Hundreds of Bajrang Dal workers reached DD Mall in the form of a rally, where they warned against playing the film Pathan in the theatre. Regarding this matter, Superintendent of Police Amit Sanghi says that security arrangements have been increased at all the theatres. Also, in view of the protests, police forces have been deployed at every intersection, theater and mall.
UTTAR PRADESH: Digdivijay Nath Tiwari, state co-ordinator of Bajrang Dal in Agra, said that he and the workers of his organization also oppose the film. Police said that activists of the right-wing organization reached several theaters and threw ink on the film posters installed there and tore them. Hindu Mahasabha leader Sanjay Jat said that the organization will not allow the film ‘Pathan’ to be released at any cost. Activists of the right-wing organization Hindu Mahasabha, who were opposing Shahrukh Khan’s film ‘Pathan’, threw ink on the posters of the film and tore them in Agra on Tuesday.
