J&K NEWS : Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who reached Baramulla in Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday, addressed the local people. During this, he stopped his speech midway for some time when the sound of Azaan came from the nearby mosque. A crowd of people had gathered in Baramulla to listen to Shah. The Home Minister himself was giving the address with full enthusiasm from the stage, but in the meantime he came to know that Azaan had started in the nearby mosque. As soon as this news came, he stopped his speech midway.

He said, I have just received a message that there is time for prayers in the mosque, after some time he started speaking from the stage again after asking the public. He asked, should I turn it on again, say it louder, brother, I should turn it on. After this Shah completed his speech.

Apart from this, bullet proof glass was installed on the stage for the safety of Shah in Jammu and Kashmir. Which he had got removed before starting his speech in Baramulla. However, he did not do this for the first time. It is reported that even before this he had got the bullet proof glass removed from the stage. During this, he said, after August 5, Modi ji has worked to take democracy to the grassroots and villages in Jammu and Kashmir. Today, more than 30 thousand people are leading Panchayat and Tehsil Panchayat in the Valley and Jammu and Kashmir. He said, earlier the definition of democracy in Kashmir was – three families, 87 MLAs and 6 MPs. Let us tell you that Union Home Minister Shah has reached Jammu and Kashmir on a three-day visit. On Tuesday he attended a program in Rajouri.
