केंद्र सरकार ने खोला खजाना, राज्यों को राज्य आपदा प्रतिक्रिया कोष से जारी की गई 8873 करोड़ की पहली किस्त

भारत सरकार के वित्त मंत्रालय ने शनिवार को कहा कि वर्ष 2021-22 के लिए राज्य आपदा प्रतिक्रिया कोष (एसडीआरएफ) के केंद्रीय हिस्से की पहली किस्त 8873.6 करोड़ रुपये में जारी की गई है।
एसडीआरएफ से प्राप्त धनराशि का उपयोग राज्यों द्वारा कोरोना से संबंधित विभिन्न उपायों के लिए किया जा सकता है, जिसमें अस्पतालों, वेंटिलेटर, एयर प्यूरिफायर में ऑक्सीजन उत्पादन और भंडारण संयंत्रों की लागत को पूरा करना, एम्बुलेंस सेवाओं को मजबूत करना, कोरोना अस्पताल, कोविड केयर सेंटर शामिल हैं।
मंत्रालय ने कहा कि जारी की गई राशि का 50 प्रतिशत तक यानी 4436.8 करोड़ रुपये का उपयोग राज्यों द्वारा COVID-19 रोकथाम उपायों के लिए किया जा सकता है।
यह भी कहा कि गृह मंत्रालय की सिफारिश पर 8873.6 करोड़ रुपये की राशि राज्यों को जारी की गई है।
मंत्रालय द्वारा जारी एक आधिकारिक बयान में कहा गया है, “एसडीआरएफ के लिए पैसे ये पैसे सामन्य प्रक्रिया में ढील देते हुए जारी किए गए हैं, बल्कि यह राशि पिछले वित्तीय वर्ष में राज्यों को प्रदान की गई राशि के उपयोग के प्रमाण पत्र की प्रतीक्षा किए बिना भी जारी की गई है।”
सामान्य रूप से, एसडीआरएफ की पहली किस्त वित्त आयोग की सिफारिशों के अनुसार जून के महीने में जारी की जाती है।
